Channelling
Channelling is the process of making a connection with a higher level of consciouness or guide. As human beings, our consciousness is often absorbed with matters of a secular nature; we are conditioned from childhood to dismiss anything that transcends our physical senses as 'unreal'. The process of channeling involves the use of our physical body as a conduit, or receiving station, for subtle communication with other spheres of consciousness. To achieve this state we must first induce a shift of awareness and increase our sensitivity (a person who acts as a channel is often referred to as a ‘sensitive’). The process is similar to that of radio or TV communication in that our physical body acts as a receiver for a non-local communication. Guides transmit on very high frequencies and we have to tune our awareness (similar to turning the dial on your radio) to resonate with their transmission. In radio or TV communication the vehicle that carries broadcasts from the transmitter to your receiver is called a carrier wave: a very high frequency that is capable of travelling great distances across space. Superimposed onto this carrier is the information you receive (sound, pictures etc). On receipt of a signal, your radio or TV receiver, removes the carrier frequency and extracts the broadcast information which is then fed to an output device e.g. your radio speaker or television screen. The carrier medium used for channelled information is refined light that has a frequency well beyond that of visible light. Contained within this light is the information transmitted from other realms of existence which comes in the form of refined thought, imagery and feeling. The output device for channelled information is the sensitive.
Why Channel?
When I am asked this question, these words immediately spring to mind: ‘happiness, wholeness, unity, enrichment and fulfilment’. Through the course of our lives many of us have set and achieved goals only to be left with a sense of bewilderment, ‘yes, I am proud of achieving this or that but the fulfilment was short lived and I am left with a void, so what now?’
...Each of us have come to the earthly plain with a mission; a purpose that we chose before incarnation. Sustained fulfilment and contentment is contigent on our determination to re-align with this purpose. It is my belief that all souls incarnate on this planet at present have chosen a purpose that involves the restoration of harmony on earth. To be effective amongst the collective we must first seek harmony within by working through the mental and emotional debris we have collected throughout our lives. So before we can help others, we must first help ourselves. Many teachings say we should be selfless and sacrifice our happiness for the good of others. Through channelled teachings, I believe this to be a misconception. We all have an inherent right to sustained happiness and fulfilment, in fact, it is a pre-requisite in enabling us to be effective amongst the collective. If we emanate happiness and contentment we are living examples of true spirituality; people will be drawn to us and want what we have attained.
During the morning of our lives we move away from our natural state of inner unity and become fragmented. This is a natural process as we have come to earth to learn. Sometimes the lessons we have chosen to assimilate are difficult and traumatic, leaving us feeling victimized or lost. High level guides enable us to see the larger picture of our lives which far transcends the constraints and limitaions of our logical/rational mind. They facilitate our pursuit of wholeness and direct us back to our life’s purpose where upon sustained happiness and fulfillment are inevitable. When we achieve inner wholeness we will recognise our full potential, attain fulfilment in all areas of our lives i.e. emotional, mental and spiritual, and become instruments of joy and peace amongst the collective. Our personal relationships will become deeper and more meaningful. We will acquire a zest for life that we have never felt before... a whole new world opens up to us.
